Angela Harris

Angela speaks of photography as being a journey of discovery for her, giving her the chance to learn new skills, be creative, and also to meet other enthusiastic people who are on their own photographic journeys. Since joining her local camera club eight years ago, she has learnt valuable skills both through feedback received on her own work and that other members have received on their work. Her main focus so far has been on learning the fundamentals of photography - things such as composition, actually learning how to take photos and ultimately how to get that sharp shot. More recently, however, she has started to allow herself the time to play and learn more deeply about the editing process and to understand how it can enhance or change an image. She says she has found this phase extremely exciting, allowing her to be creative, which, Angela believes, is not a natural trait for her. She enjoys any opportunity that presents itself when she is out with her camera and although she has not really settled on any one genre as her favourite, she acknowledges she is at her happiest immersed in nature.

How about spending a little time looking through this gorgeous and diverse selection of Angela’s work which gives just a hint of her wonderful creativity.
