Out of the Box - The exhibition that looks back in time!

‘Out of the Box’ sees Bricolage Collective returning to Dunedin Fringe’s White Box Gallery from 1 February to 31 March 2027, but this time, the viewers become the exhibition.

During the earlier Bricolage installation, a motion-activated camera quietly recorded the reactions of people stopping at the George Street window gallery…moments of curiosity, reflection, surprise and connection.

With permission, these street portraits of Ōtepoti Dunedin’s art audience will now fill the White Box itself, turning the gaze back onto the city and the people who paused to look.
