Bricolage 2026 - Three photographers…three ways of seeing!

Bricolage Collective are proud to present our first independent exhibition at The Photo Gallery in Ōtepoti Dunedin from 1 to 31 October 2026.

Featuring ten works each by Gary McClintock, Noelle Bennett and Henrik Moller, the exhibition brings together not only three distinct photographic voices but also three distinct ways of seeing the world.

Gary McClintock

Urban environments are ever changing. Decay and development along with the guerilla mark making and cover ups produce vignettes of unintentional artistry and design. Gary’s images are the result of quiet moments exploring backstreets and alleyways. They speak to the human need to create order from disorder.

Noelle Bennett

Goethe once said, ‘All the knowledge I possess everyone else can acquire, but my heart is all my own.’ And this is why photography plays such a huge part in Noelle’s life. She says that artists walk an interesting line between their intellect and their emotions, but believes art is truly at its best when it is delivered from one heart to another. She hopes that the techniques and styles she chooses to use to produce her images helps her to achieve her goal.

Henrik Moller

Henrik's work is inspired by New Zealand's natural landscapes and ecology. Through layering, reworking and sometimes recolouring photographic elements, he explores the environmental, economic and social forces that shape conservation and sustainability. His images often blend minimalist abstraction with a broader nature-expressionist aesthetic.
