Jodelle Leatham

Jodelle says her photography is about those moments when she’s literally focused on the right there and right then, free from all the internal noise and external distractions of everyday life. In fact, she describes photography as escapism for the overthinker!

She has been a photographer since her 20s but feels it is only in the last eight to ten years that she has progressed her learning and expanded her thinking around creativity with a camera. Jodelle ascribes her progress in large part to being part of a progressive group who are keen to explore thinking outside the rules of photography whilst still appreciating them and recognising their value and who also enjoy using multiple diverse methods and techniques to create their images. As someone who describes herself as ‘forever evolving’ Jodelle enjoys the impact this level of spontaneity has on her photography.

Take a little time from your busy day to enjoy the results of Jodelle’s escapism and spontaneity in this wonderful selection of her images.
